Funabashi-ya offers "Shiratama shiruko with Chamame zunda" (brown soybean sweet taste) at each "Funabashiya Koyomi" stores from August 1 to 31.
"Funabashiya Koyomi" is a sister brand launched by Funabashiya in commemoration of its founding 200 years. It is offering original sweets that fuse Japanese and Western, including its signature sweet "Kuzumochi pudding".
"Funabashiya Koyomi" offers difference flavor’s shiru-ko (red-bean sweet soup) monthly that enjoys seasonal taste every month. For August, it is offering cold "Shiratama shiruko with Chamame zunda" 520 yen (tax excluded).
A two-layered shiruko that combines Funabashiya homemade red bean paste that leaves crunchy texture. Zunda and homemade red bean paste are great match, so you can enjoy the lovely harmony of chewy Shiratama mochi balls and sweet paste.
It will be available in three stores: "Hiroo Main Store, Perrier Chiba Ekinaka Store, and Ecute Tokyo Store of "Funabashiya Koyomi".
This summer-limited cold shiruko with plenty of zunda paste is highly recommend for summer for many occasions.
