Suigian where is registered as a world intangible cultural heritage, is a theatrical style restaurant and lounge in Tokyo where you can watch Japanese performances like Noh and Kyogen while savoring Edo-style sushi, alcohol and sweets. A special performance which called "Ghost Noh" with a concept of "Women’s pathos and emotions" will be held from August 14 to 16. In this special performance "Ghost Noh", you can experience Noh version of classic Japanese ghost stories with the special distance and areas that would never be possible in elsewhere.
The name of the program is "Kanawa". A wife who bear a grudge to her husband and his new lover, visit to a shrine at dead of night to put a curse of death on them. Her face will eventually turn into a demon .... It is a story that depicts the fear of the "woman's grudge".
You can enjoy a powerful dance that makes your spine cold, in a fantastic world with illusional candles which is difference as usual.The venue will open from 17:30 and start at 19:00. The fee is 5,000 yen (tax included) per adult. After 20:30, it changes to a lounge bar "Hyakukawa Lounge". Even in the lounge time, you can enjoy ghosts related performance called "Takao Zange".
