Japan's largest handmade market place "Creema" will hold "Handmade Japan Festival 2019" that shows creative culture made in Japan to the inside and outside of the country from July 20 to 21 at Tokyo Big Sight.
The artworks with the theme of "Everybody's treasure island" by 3,000 creators from around the country will gather in this year's 8th edition.
The venue will consist of three parts such as "market" where range of original works such as fashion, interior, art and handicrafts are lined up, "workshops" where you can observe or join the making of traditional craftworks with craftsmen and popular creators, and "creator area" where artists draw "live painting".It is sure to become a treasure island for everyone who comes to this event, "creators" who bring works and "user" who enjoy the encounter with the works!In addition, the "Music & Play Area" where you can enjoy live performances by talented musicians and fresh farm products at the Farmers Market, and "Food & Cafe Area" where selected homemade foods from all over Japan are gathered. There are many contents which both kids and adult can enjoy together.This is a special event where you can experience creativity with five senses through experiences that can only be done here.
The venue is in Tokyo Big Sight West 1, 2 Hall. The entrance fee is 1 day ticket 1200 yen, 2days ticket 2000 yen for advance ticket, and 1 day ticket 1500 yen, 2 days ticket 2500 yen for the day ticket. Children under elementary school are free. Advance ticket is now on sale.
